Vegan potluck in PH lasted 6 hours! Guess what happened 👀

Together with Vegan Brunch Club, AAA Philippines organized a potluck inspired by the Kain at Hain fellowship program. People came from different regions in the country to share food and join the fun.

One participant came from more than 220 kilometers away!

Kain at Hain fellows and advisors, all of whom were present, received certificates as part of the festivities.

As the day went by, vegans kept coming, bringing with them a steady supply of vegan dishes, drinks, and delicacies. The sun crept closer to where the potluck was being held, so everyone had to transfer to a new spot for yet another potluck session!

Scheduled to last only two hours, the potluck went on for six hours.

Vegan Brunch Club, a group that organizes potlucks in Metro Manila, played a collaborative role in making this happen.

Let’s congratulate #VeganBrunchClub and #KainatHain for this wonderful celebration of humans and animals!

Stef dela Cruz is a magazine editor and retired doctor. Before becoming vegan, she worked with organizations fighting for environmental protection, women’s rights, and healthcare justice. She graduated with Latin honors from both Medicine and Nursing at the University of Santo Tomas, where she is a Dean Bacala Academic Excellence Award recipient. She is the only doctor to receive the 2013 Health Media Award from the Department of Health. Arguably her most important achievement, however, is being the human guardian of three spoiled cats.
