NCCU GreenFest presented at a workshop in Thailand! 🎊

On August 24, 2024, an engaging Animal Welfare and Plant-Based Advocacy Workshop took place in Bangkok, Thailand. Organized by Sinergia Animal Thailand, Humane Society International, and CU Animal Welfare (a student club at Chulalongkorn University), the event brought together students and advocates passionate about making a difference for animals.

The workshop covered key topics such as Thailand’s animal welfare history, campaign training, and sharing new project ideas. A highlight of the event was the participation of student initiatives from Thailand and Taiwan. Thammasat Vegan Society shared their experience in working to increase plant-based options on their campus.

A special moment came when NCCU GreenFest, a grantee of Animal Alliance Asia’s ReRoot Asia Fund 2024, joined virtually from Taiwan! They gave an inspiring presentation about organizing green, plant-based events at National Chengchi University (NCCU), showing how youth-led initiatives can be impactul and inspiring 🔥

This workshop was a great opportunity for students from different universities and advocates from different organizations to collaborate, share ideas, and build momentum for animal advocacy projects in the region. It also marked an exciting step in fostering international connections within the animal advocacy movement in Asia 🤗
